Vintage 9ct yellow gold amethyst ring, UK L.5, US 6.25

A gorgeous vintage 1970 9ct yellow gold ring set with a beautiful oval amethyst, with elegant bifurcated shoulders and slender but sturdy band. In an antique style, with a raised setting that has a wavy band and rope style decoration to the gallery, the amethyst is an exceptionally pretty shade of purple that looks well in the yellow gold. A bold, statement ring with an intense pop of vivid colour.
