Vintage 9ct ruby cabochon signet ring, UK N, US 6.75-7

A delightful vintage 9ct yellow gold signet ring set with a cabochon oblong ruby which I imagine is synthetic. With sweeping smooth shoulders it’s a perfect everyday signet ring, the ruby is a rather dark and mysterious red, it’s no secret that I love these rings and no jewellery collection is complete without one, imho.
