Vintage 14ct gold sugarloaf peridot ring, UK O.5, US 7.5

A superb modernist 14ct yellow gold cocktail ring set with a large sugarloaf peridot on a solid gallery with prongs. Striking one-of-a-kind vintage ring, the peridot has a luminous quality with natural inclusions, there are feathered decoration to the sides of each shoulder. I can’t make out the makers stamp, it is most certainly a designer piece.
Ring size; around a O.5, US around a 7.5
Hallmark; stamped 585 for 14ct gold, makers mark 
Weight; 11.7 grams
Dimensions; setting 17mm across, 15mm high 
Condition; very good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age
