Victorian Etruscan revival 18ct matt gold garnet seed pearl large pendant

A gorgeous antique Victorian 18ct matt yellow gold pendant in the Etruscan revival style, set with a square cut garnet and little seed pearls, formerly a broken brooch this has been carefully repurposed into a much more wearable pendant. In the Etruscan style with fine rope detail to the edges and delightful bead work, a deep scalloped centre from which the garnet and pearls are attached in a deep gold cup setting, a fabulous Victorian design. The garnet is a very deep and mysterious darkest red, plus the little creamy seed pearls which all look so well in the antique matt yellow gold.
