Victorian 9ct 1856 yellow gold pearl ring, UK M, US 6-6.25
The epitome of Victorian jewellery fashion, a delicate 9ct yellow gold ring with a central oval plaque with engraved detail, three little seed pearls plus raised foliate design to each shoulder and a highly decorative band, there’s a lot going on with this diminutive ring. Dating to 1856 slap bang in the middle of Victoria’s reign, a dainty ring that shouldn’t be immersed in water or worn while changing a tyre or lifting the dahlias, if you get my drift.
