Georgian 9ct gold amethyst daisy cluster ring, UK J, US 5-5.25

An absolutely delightful antique late Georgian/early Victorian 9ct yellow gold ring set with amethysts, the head of the ring being the form of a delicate daisy cluster, with a larger central amethyst surrounded by smaller pinky purple amethysts. Highly decorative bifurcated shoulders curve round to a reeded band, this is one of the prettiest little antique gold and gemstone rings I have had the good fortune to own. A dainty antique ring with flat back stones, it is not suitable for immersion in water or wearing while doing any household tasks, what a great excuse not to do any!
