Antique Victorian 15ct gold old cut diamond & ruby crescent moon brooch

A truly delightful antique Victorian crescent moon bar brooch, in 15ct gold, set with old cut diamonds plus a star set ruby, and two old cut diamonds at either end of the bar. This brooch is so pretty and totally wearable just as it is, I did consider breaking it up to make a pendant of the diamond crescent moon but it’s in such perfect condition I couldn’t bring myself to spoil it. The diamonds in the moon are white and sparkling, the ruby star sits in the sky next to it, this is lovely example of celestial Victorian jewellery.

Condition; very good antique condition, wear commensurate with age
