Antique intaglio I attach where I die & boxed wax impression

An absolutely gorgeous antique Victorian intaglio set with finely carved citrine with the motto “je meurs ou je m’attache” (I die where I attach) around a tree smothered in ivy. Heavy on the antique symbolism front, this little beauty also has a wax impression, complete with turned wooden box. Such a delight, this a is a semi-precious intaglio not paste, it is gold cased which is worn and I haven’t cleaned it, leaving that for the new custodian. I love it just as it is.
