Antique Georgian 18ct gold amethyst ring, UK P-P.5, US 8

What a delight, this ring is highly decorative in antique gold, with a hugh central amethyst in a Georgian style setting, I imagine once a seal or brooch which has been converted to a ring. The band is stamped 18ct and I think the top is 9ct ct gold. A beautifully made ring that sits high on the finger, it has a stately feel to it, a true antique statement ring.

Condition; very good antique condition, wear commensurate with age, age related wear to amethyst mentioned purely for accuracy, it can be polished, a little solder to the side of the ring not noticeable worn
