A gorgeous antique conversion ring, set with a cabochon garnet surrounded by seed pearls in an oval setting, possibly a brooch or a part of a larger piece then mounted on a plain band. A charming piece of wearable antique recycled jewellery, the garnet is a glorious deep red with closed back that looks so well with the little halo of lustrous pearls.
