Antique 18ct yellow gold 5 stone old cut diamond ring, UK O.5-P, 7.75

An antique 18ct yellow gold 5 stone half hoop ring set with old cut diamonds with little rose cut diamonds between, the diamonds total approx 87 points. With an extremely pretty carved setting this is a delightful antique engagement ring, it stacks to perfection, the old mine style diamonds have a Maltese cross effect inside, they are not white or glittery as modern diamonds but have a romantic sparkle. The diamonds are approx L-M colour and Si2-i2 with natural inclusions. The inside has an old inscription March 4 1913 then some illegible letters and WH, a delightful mystery we can only imagine the  lives of the former ownees.
