A gorgeous antique 18ct white gold and platinum east-west engagement ring dating from the Art Nouveau/Art Deco period, with a central deeply inky and mysterious sapphire surrounded by glittery old rose cut diamonds. The gallery and setting are highly detailed in white gold, the diamonds are grain set and the sapphire is bezel set. A charming mix of the fluid lines of Art Nouveau and the more geometric beginnings of the Art Deco period of jewellery making, probably French and totally delightful. Of course this beautiful antique sapphire and diamond ring isn’t just reserved for formal engagements, it’s a representation of the many kinds of love we share.
