Antique 18ct gold opal rose cut diamond ring, UK Q-Q.5, US 8.5

A delightful antique opal and diamond ring, from the Edwardian period set in 18ct yellow gold, with a gorgeous carved setting. Three vivacious opals display a light show of peacock blues and greens with flashes of orange and yellow, interspersed with tiny rose cut diamonds that may be small but add a tantalising antique glitter to this little ensemble. The carved setting I imagine is hand carved, a sweet and highly detailed ring with colour and glitter, what’s not to love.
