Antique 15ct gold griffin bloodstone shield intaglio ring, UK N, US 7

An antique Victorian 15ct gold signet ring dating to 1897, with a bloodstone shield intaglio decorated with a carved griffin. The gold has a lovely slightly rosy tone, unique to antique gold, the bloodstone is a dark green with little specks of red. A most charming antique English signet ring, I don’t recommend resizing as it would spoil the ring.
